What Is the Mill District?
The Mill District is a mixed-use development located above Boardman Lake in Traverse City, Michigan. 1032 Woodmere Ave is the former home of TC Millworks, a company Keen acquired to build out its overall construction and development capabilities, adding experience and talent to our team.
The Mill District will occupy a 1.6-acre parcel and combine a restaurant, a coffee shop, and Traverse City’s premier bike shop, Brick Wheels. Now over fifty years old. Brick Wheels is both the anchor of the development and a community institution. The shop is expected to make the move in late 2027.
Condo Construction in Traverse City
Another component of the project is the construction of condo units, including several residential units in the main building. There are plans to build three additional buildings that will contain the majority of the project’s market-rate residential condominiums and underground parking.
